Introducing Washable Merino

High-tech meets high-end

Fine merino has always come with a condition: dry clean only. Ours no longer does. Our merino is now spun from Italian CASHWOOL® easy-care yarn, so the softness you expect from extra-fine wool is now machine washable.

1. Fiber

Spun in Biella

Our extra-fine 19.5-micron merino is spun by Zegna Baruffa in Italy's Piedmont, where the mill has made fine yarn since 1850. Every batch passes 12,000 spinning tests for strength, evenness and twist before it reaches our machines.

2. Care

Washable, Naturally

The yarn is finished for easy care, so it machine washes cold on a gentle cycle without shrinking or felting. It comes out the size and shape it went in. No dry cleaner required, no hand basin.

3. Construction

Seamless by Design

Each piece is knit in one continuous piece using WholeGarment® technology. With no seams to pull or twist, it holds its line wash after wash — and weighs less than a sweater sewn from panels.

4. Origin

Made in Brooklyn, Made Only for You

Every piece is knit in Brooklyn after you order it, in 5–10 business days. Nothing warehoused. Nothing wasted.

5. Wear

Softness, for Keeps

Merino is a natural, renewable fiber. Extra-fine merino breathes, regulates warmth and sits softly against the skin, so one piece carries you from a cold morning to a warm room. Made to be worn for years, not seasons.

Three steps. That's the whole routine.

1. Wash cold.

Gentle cycle with a wool-safe detergent.

2. Lay flat to dry.

Or tumble dry on low heat.

3. Dry clean optional.

It's an option, never a requirement.
